Grey Hat SEO tactic to save you from Copy Content Issue.

In Search Engine World, We can do allots of Grey hat tactics to save from Copy Content Issue. If we are creating a content which is copied by our own site then we should use 301 redirect method. 301 Redirect Method is a signals that page has been moved permanently and you are requesting to the search engine that remove the page from Index and pass link juice to another redirected page.

While Canonical is one of the Example of the document that it has multiple version. I.e. if your website have http://www.yoursite.com/, http://yoursite.com/, http://www.yoursite.com/index.php or http://yoursite.com/index.php. All these are the Same webpage link but any Search Engine Crawler thought that, It have 4 different type of Website and your Site might be outranked by Panda update, due to Copy Content Issue.
Now i am discussing about when and why you should use these things.
  1. 301 Redirects: 301 Redirect Method is a signals that page has been moved permanently and you are requesting to the search engine that remove the page from Index and pass link juice to another redirected page.

When 301 Redirection Required:
  •  When you are re-branding your Website, Such as your Website has permanently moved.
  •  If you want to Replace your webpage with same content
  •  When your have expired Webpage Content or you get 404 error.
Some of the Common Problem Occur:
  • You should have access of FTP or Server.
  • Sometime Search Engine didn't remove the Content of the Website from there ranking then you will have to submit your Site through Webmaster.
  • Redirection not used properly.
  1. Canonical Attribute : According to Wikipedia the definition of Canonical is "A canonical link element is an HTML element that helps webmasters prevent duplicate content issues by specifying the "canonical", or "preferred", version of a web page as part of search engine optimization." But In my view i have already definite above. Now i would like to tell you that Canonical Attribute is not a redirect Method. When you implement rel="canonical" then it will not redirect your visitor to the new URL, It is a signal which is used for the Search Engine Crawler to Understand, Which page is to index or which page is not.
When to implement canonical Attribute:
  •  When your Content is Similar and both Webpages are remain visible.
  •  Content Syndication
  •  Dynamically Generated Page. Then you will have to handle these page through webmaster and inform Google about it.
  •  When you are not Implement 301 Redirect on any pages.
Some of the Common Problem Occur:
  •  After Implementation of rel Canonical attribute, still your Page is seen on search engine or may be ignored by Search Engine.
  • Misused of tag on the Webpages.
  • When Implementation is Incorrect

6) Turn your blog in to e-book
This is one of the best way to promote your content, you can create your content and convert it in to e-book and offer this e-book to various site as a free download, You can also take parts of your blog posts and distribute them as smaller snippets of information. You could create a video, tweet out key stats or use sections of your post to answer questions your audience may have.

Some of the Myth of Duplicate Content & Its Remedy

One of the biggest hamper in SEO industry is lack of Consistency when it comes to SEO terms and definitions. One of the most important phrase is "Duplicate Content Penalty". Here i am going to tell you that, How duplicate content get penalty for your Site and why it is so. You know, Search engine don't specifically penalize your website that happen to have some duplicate content.

Whenever your website have duplicate content on multiple URLs, then it should be canonicalized for Search Engine, We could done it through 301 redirect to the correct URL using rel=canocial tag (See the Attached picture), In some cases we could do it through HTACCESS File as well as through Google Webmaster Tools.

So one thing I want to tell you that Search Engine are not out you if your Site have duplicate content. Google doesn't have any idea to deflect your Site due to duplicate Content. For Example "If your Site is Selling Some blue widgets, and your site is not ranked due to this reason then its wrong. The worst thing that will happen is that your site have duplicate content and you are not telling Google or any search engine that your site have duplicate content. So for Ranking of the Site you will have to tell the Crawler that your site have duplicate Content and you have to inform it properly. You could also inform google by the below method as i have mention. When your site have duplicate content the search engine are not panalized you they only trying to retrench your website rank."

Methods For Short-Out Duplicate Content Issue.

301 Redirect :
You know in many cases we could safe our content by getting panalized by set up a 301 redirect from duplicate page to the original content page. This 301 redirection could be done through HTACCESS File As well as, Google Webmaster Tools too. When you create this type of activity then it will positively impact on search engine.

Rel="canonical":

Another Best way to deal with duplicate content is create rel=canonical tag. This tag passes the same link juice as 301 redirect and it will take less development time to implement. Just you have to implement this tag in header of the Page like eg.

<link href="http://www.example.com/canonical-version-of-page/" rel="canonical" />

This tag tells Google,Bing and Yahoo  Crawler that the given tag should be treated as copy of the URL and you did't get Amerce.

noindex, follow
By Implement this tag on Header Portion of the Page you can easily inform the Search Engine Crawler that the crawler crawl the site but not to Index it. It is also Implement in Header Tag.

Google scraper report that outranked your site.

Some of the Additional Method to Remove Duplicate Content:

You should have also consistent about it that your site have no any duplicate content and if you want that you have a blog which has already published and again you want to get published that blog without any changing then you have to create changes on HTACCESS file or you will have to insert canonical href meta tag on the header of the Site. For example, rather than having one page about jacket for boys and another page for jacket for girls that shares 95% of the same content, consider expanding those pages to include distinct, relevant content for each URL. Alternatively, a webmaster could combine the two pages into a single page that is highly relevant for children's jackets.
Remove duplicate content from search engines’ indices by no index-ing with meta robots or through removal via Webmaster Tools (Google & Bing).

Lastly I would Like to say.

"Content is King" because without it Google has nothing to index or Crawled.
If there is nothing to index, there is nothing to show in search results.
If there is nothing to show in search results, Google is not making any money. But also, no one is coming to your site, and consequently, you’re not making any money.
Or so the conventional wisdom goes. Google has promote the quantity of content, NOT quality. This is because Google makes money with our content. For a very elegant explanation of how that particular hat-trick works, Watch Dan Cristo in this Video.

Note: Even tho I keep saying “google”, same rules apply for all search engines.

How Social Reputation Impact on you Build it?

So i am starting this point of view with an example. I had to stay at a hotel in Jammu in last year and after returning from there i had written a review on TripAdvisor about that hotel every thing is perfect but at the end of the line i had written some bad response about the hotel about the Room Service. You know after 2 day's i got a call from manager of that hotel and the call was not for the saying "Thank You" for Staying with us. even-though no forward to having you again. but they address the problem directly about the Room Service and told to me that i had already dismiss that Waiter and In Future when ever you will come here you will not face such type of problem so please remove that Review. Then I analyse the Power of Social Impact. We have already seen the power of Social Impact in the recent Election. Where Narendra Modi has spread his words every per second.

So If you have to spread your words then social media is a good medium. Any one who is activily engaged in Social Media they know the power of it. So you should Understand that social media is a good medium of getting Knowledge of any thing. You could know more about the Hotel, Resort, Restaurant etc. by there Real feedback on Tripadvisor and this is a good portal for Upload your own feedback. In Facebook you can get more like by relatively engaged on Facebook. More Follower on Twitter with share the knowledge of your followers impact.

My unsolicited advise to all the user of social media is that they use these medium with take very seriously and spread there words all over-the world.
